Can you hear me by microphone now?
Okay.
Before we restart, please, please, please.
It appears that the people in the live stream were without any sound.
So if you're just hearing me screaming, please tell me directly.
And the people in the wider audience will actually be very grateful.
And I apologize to the people in the live stream.
There is a recording of last year that is relatively similar to the one you could not hear today.
And that's the only thing I can actually tell you.
Sorry about this.
Okay. And of course the phone call I didn't take in the beginning of the lecture was people telling me that I should switch on the microphone.
Okay. So, right.
There's a couple of things I would like to add many stuff that I would like to talk about.
One was that I'm getting kind of questions from people about projects.
The data scientists need one 10 ECTS project and the computer science masters as well and the AI masters even need two projects.
And some people were wondering how do I get a project?
There's actually two ways of doing that.
One is ask any AI professor for a project.
That will typically be a kind of individual project where you research something under supervision.
There's also the AI systems project, which is basically tailored to AI one and AI two the lectures.
There's one project each where you do kind of something like for every kind of chapter or bigger chunk that we're doing in AI one.
You build a little system for that.
In the search time, we have pathfinding and connection finding for the Indian Railways.
We have a data set of all the connections there.
Rather than doing pathfinding in Romania, you write search based problem, search based algorithms for pathfinding in the Indian Railway.
For gameplay, we're not doing KALA, which is relatively easy.
But Chinese checkers, which has the star shaped playing board, which makes the whole thing more interesting, especially also that you can have up to six players.
And these kind of things.
There's one kind of group project for AI one and there's one for AI two.
That's 10 ECTS.
You can sign up for this.
And why I'm bringing this up is that we've just decided that while so far you could only do the AI one systems project during the AI one semester, which may be a bit big and much for you.
We're also offering that now in the non AI one semester, the AI two semester and the other way around.
So if you want to kind of play it safe and see whether you like AI one before you do system project with four AI one, you can do that in the directly following semester.
So I would the AI students I would advise to take some kind of the first project you have to do do something like the AI systems project.
Because it's group because it's near to a near to to one of these courses, you don't have the problem of having to learn about whale songs before you can do translation of whale songs into dog barks or something, who knows what they're offering as projects.
And you already know the the necessary facts. And then the second.
The second one is probably a good idea to do kind of one of these individual projects.
That's my personal opinion.
But I'm forcing you to do to do this and you can do either AI one and AI two systems projects or you can do two individual projects, and the individual projects are a bit different more difficult to get.
You're very many, we're very few,
which is why we have these AI systems projects,
so we can actually get some of you through,
provide some of you with 50 per semester of you with projects.
Right.
The next thing I wanted to talk about,
are there any questions about this?
If questions develop, just send me an email.
Or Frederick Schaefer, who's organ.
Yes.
